a) Bridge is played with a regular 52-card deck; each player being dealt thirteen cards which will be played one at the time for a total of thirteen tricks

c) The four suits and notrump rank as follows
notrump NT (the strongest)
spades
hearts
diamonds
clubs (the weakest)

d) Spades and hearts are the major suits while diamonds and clubs are the minor suits
