a) Types of responding hands

      Worthless responding hand...........0-5 HCP
          
      Minimum responding hand.............6-9 TP
          
      Intermediate responding hand........10-12 TP
          
      Strong responding hand..............13-15 TP
          
      Very strong responding hand.........16-18 TP
          
      Giant responding hand...............19+ HCP
b) Subtract one point from your point-count with a 4-3-3-3 distributional hand

c) Do not respond to partner's one of a suit opening with less than six highcard points

d) Without support for your partner's suit, consider only highcard points and long-suit points when evaluating your hand

e) With two or three four-card suits, first declare the suit nearest to your partner's suit

f) Any response in a new suit will be forcing for one round except when made by a passed hand or when an opponent enters the auction

g) Responding to one of a minor, give a preference to a five-card major over a five-card minor

h) With a minimum or intermediate hand, declare the higher-ranking of two five-card majors
